ABOUT GARY
I approach hypnotherapy as a collaborative, structured practice focused on nervous system regulation and meaningful internal change. Sessions are paced carefully and designed to work with the nervous system rather than override it. I’m less interested in dramatic breakthroughs and more focused on creating conditions where insight and relief can emerge naturally.
Before entering this field, I spent over two decades working as a creative director in advertising and film. That background shaped how I think about attention, imagery, pacing, and emotional resonance. I learned how subtle shifts in tone and structure influence how an experience is felt from the inside. Those same principles now inform how I work with the subconscious, quietly and intentionally.
After surviving a severe neurological illness and later entering long-term remission, I came to understand the gap that can exist between medical treatment and internal experience. Even when the body is healing, the nervous system can remain vigilant, overstimulated, or exhausted.
My clinical training, combined with lived experience as a patient navigating recovery, allows me to approach this work with both professional structure and personal insight. I understand the medical process from both sides of the room.
This work is quiet by design.
It values attention over effort.
Clarity emerges when strain falls away.
